I have had the great pleasure of working with Bettina over the last couple of years. At first individually, through counselling and hypnotherapy.

Bettina has a kind and peaceful mannerism about her that makes you feel comfortable, welcomed, and accepted.

I personally really found working through hypnotherapy was a wonderful release of the past for me. Bettina’s guided approach was gentle, allowing me to reach the depths I needed.

I have also participated in group work guided by Bettina. It was a beautiful wholesome incorporation of yoga, and mind healing.
I am not usually the most comfortable opening up in a group setting like that, but the way it was led by Bettina, left me with no fear of judgement and no pressure.

Bettina truly has a gift for being easy to talk too, she is one of the most accepting wonderful women I have had the pleasure of learning from.
Her ability to communicate, in many different styles, is outstanding. You are bound to have a connection with her. I always genuinely look forward to my appointments with Bettina, and always leave with a sense of accomplishment.

I would refer absolutely anyone to Bettina in a heartbeat. In fact, I have recommended her to many, and time and time again Bettina is praised for excelling at her work.

While working through some mild concussive symptoms with my physiotherapist, it became apparent that stress and anxiety (exacerbated by 2017/2018 wildfires) were playing a big part in making my symptoms worse. Fortunately, I got the last spot in an Integrative Yoga program focusing on self-care and stress management, co-developed and co-delivered by Bettina. During the course we learned to create a toolbox of practices that we could implement depending on our needs.

These particular tools helped me come back from depression to a place of acceptance and understanding:

  • journaling
  • practicing gratitude
  • yoga
  • concentrating on slower breathing
  • exercising outside (in nature), and
  • making time for myself.

About five months later I reached out to Bettina for one-on-one counselling to help me through what I was noticing as social withdrawal issues – there was a lot of negative self-talk going on in my head, and it was impacting my relationships. She responded in a very timely manner and this time we explored a hypnotherapy session. Bettina made sure I felt safe and comfortable in that context. She helped to ground me and to see things in a more positive light. We also reviewed some of the insights from the Integrative Yoga program toolbox.

I highly recommend Bettina and am so grateful this qualified, intelligent, ethical, caring and empathetic soul chooses to counsel our community during these challenging times.
